The FIU Postdoctoral Association (FIUPAS) is governed by an elected Postdoctoral Council. The Council is responsible for organizing events, managing the budget, communicating important information to postdocs, establishing relationships across campus, and celebrating and respecting diversity among FIU Postdocs.

Any postdoc may serve as a member of the Council. Elections occur through digital ballots distributed to all FIU Postdocs in June. Officer selection occurs within the elected Council in July. Terms begin in August.
